Emblen was a strange one

On paper he looked like a really sound signing, very proven with Wolves in the Championship.
Palace even paid £2m for him at one point, when £2m was serious cash.
He made 6 starts for us in 2 years!
Went on to play 80 games for Walsall after he left so it wasn’t even a case that he was totally finished.
We were unlucky with him I guess.
