The original question was does he have any abilities. My assertion was that he did.

If it were that easy, we’d all be former Cabinet ministers. Whether he did a good job during his time in Government or as Chairman of Norwich is another discussion.

You seem to be letting your dislike for him (and all politicians) cloud your judgement. If you REALLY dislike politicians the last thing you should do is underestimate them.
