I said at the time he left us that giving him the benefit of the doubt what

happened with his son must have affected him because I found it hard to believe he could genuinely be that bad as a coach. His heart never seemed in it, I suspect the players could tell that and that makes a difference however much you might want it not to. I suspect also that he took our job purely so his wife could move back closer to her family.

He needs to take a proper break before he comes back into football. Despite how much he messed us and our season up he obviously didn't do it on purpose and you have to feel for him and his family on a human level.
