Top half even. I mean if we were now to limp to the end, finally

succumbing to the fatigue of a long season, starting without proper preparation and then continuing with a small selection of fit players at any one time, with a change of manager and the first two thirds of the season being in a relegation battle, then I would still be very happy with what they’ve done.
Now the playoffs are out of reach and relegation isn’t a threat, that fatigue can come back as the adrenaline cools down.

But I hope they do give it all to the end. It’s also in their best interests because if you look at the squad we have a number coming back from injury, obviously a transfer window ahead which will be the first one the new manager can really build his squad from, and a boss who has a clear message on how he wants his team to play, so all of them are now in a fight to show why they should be in the first team squad next season.
