I'm struggling to understand how he 'discraced' himself? If you actually watch the replay its quite clear the defender had hold of his shirt and was pulling him over. When that happens Rooney has no choice but to stumble backwards and he had nowhere else to put his feet!
If he looked at the player and made a seperate stamping movement then, yes I would agree. But that quite clearly didnt happen.

The ppl at fault are the referee and c**t face Ronaldo. He was not taking any action until they came running over shouting at the referee and crying about how their player was on the floor. Which i thought FIFA were cracking down on?
But obviously not.
