my wife is a TA and all their school training is after school hours and the TAs don't get paid for it.

After much cajoling I persuaded her to raise this at their meeting with the Trust's HR bod, as it puts her under NMW. Apparently they went red and blustered so someone else piped up 'Hey, Mrs CWC, isn't your husband a lawyer?' and the HR bod then went white.

All training is now being done during hours or is paid overtime.

Worst thing about it, is that they *knew* it was an issue. They just rely on people being too afraid of losing their job to complain.
