Agree with most of that and I'd go for Gerrard as captain
I'm not so bothered what formation we play so long as the right players fill the right positions and the system has some logic.
And don't ever, ever, ever take an unexperienced 17 year old striker to a World Cup as your fourth striker when you don't have any intention of playing him.
