BUT the risk of ACL injuries can be reduced with a good core because often they come from over extension so good strong balance can help.
Core can help a lot with general injury prevention because often they’ll come from needing to stretch for a ball that you’ve not been able to control, or an awkward position whilst trying to make a tackle, but obviously a lot of injuries are just really bad luck (like Stacey and his concussions, Makama’s foot etc).
But with Crnac and Topic I was referring more to them not being able to hold the ball than injury prevention.
