That might be a message/warning to the club that we need to hang on to these top players next season if we want real PL ambitions, not scraping into the playoffs but real top 2 ambitions.
This window has proven that spent wisely, that Sarge money can buy us a lot of quality at this level.
Less Crnac and Jurasek and more Paris, Toure, and Ali for a fraction of the cost.
If we resort back to a selling club I could see Clement walking away.
