Not quite but I think you’re right in Newcastle going backwards. For all the

excuses about not being able to spend big immediately because of PSR, they’ve still spent decent amounts on players who are clearly not worth it, and often inferior to the players they’re replacing.

The one bit of good transfer business they did was selling Isak. But they still look weaker whenever Murphy isn’t playing. And we thought they’d overpaid for him!
