an entire new generation of potential jihadis (again - they do this once a generation strangely enough), exposed anti-regime sentiments that were previously kept under wraps and thereby forcing more asylum seekers, allowing further conditions for martial law and/or crackdowns to allow the Iranian regime to strengthen against opposition and, a cynic would say, giving Israel the excuse to walk into and occupy the south of Lebanon. And a lot more but my thumbs are tired.
