I think the pundits had it right

He's not really got the temperament to play as "the one". His fault and something he needs to deal with - but not entirely unpredictable. Again agree with the pundits that in 4-1-4-1 no-one knew what they were doing.

And the penalties were soft little sidefooters. Fucking run up and blast the c**t. They weren't "great saves from a penalty saves specialist" they were s**te penalty kicks.

Guts? Determination? 10/10

Football? 5/10

And that's why we lost to a very ordinary Portuguese side who deserve to get crucified and will when they play a team with class. That could have been us - but wasn't :-(
