probably but ...

they are not suppose to even drink water , seems harsh , though a quick look on the internet tells me that ,they are suppose to refrain from eating and drinking during Ramadam but and i quote .

"However, they are given significant accommodations, modifications, and, in specific circumstances, exemptions to manage their physical performance and health"

So some leeway there ... so in general i dont think much to worry about regarding potential injury concerns linked to it
