The secrecy of the ballot is a cornerstone of UK elections. Allowing two people into a booth risks coercion, vote-buying, or undue influence, which is why the rules are enforced strictly.

A voter who needs assistance due to a disability or literacy difficulty may bring a companion, but this must be formally recorded by polling staff. and this not being reported as happening
Otherwise, no one is allowed in the booth with you.
