I agree about the religion part. That should not be the case. Obviously that's

historical, but it should by now have been corrected.

However, I still don't really get the point about other European monarchies being ceremonial rather than constitutional because their ceremonial roles are written into a single constitution (and therefore constitutional), whereas the UK monarchy's similarly ceremonial role isn't written into a single constitution because the UK doesn't have one.

Much of the role is written into several constitutions though - Bill of Rights, Act of Settlement, Statute Law and Common Law. But some key elements are indeed ruled by convention. However, this convention is never broken so I fail to see the difference in practice.

All across Europe, they are privileged by birth, bankrolled by the general public, and devoid of any real power.
