Tradition is an interesting argument.

It raises as many questions as answers, but mainly:

Whose tradition?
How far back?

Unless you know and accept what the answers to those are, I’d argue it’s not entirely relevant. And it’s why many people avoid change, because it’s easier. But you know what I think and I don’t want to go off on a tangent.
