Guess him and his agent were hoping the relegation release clause would be an ace

Club will need to make a decision at some point, him not playing will be impacting his value regardless. Doesn't look like we'll get the money we would have in summer. Perhaps we would accept less in Summer, but wouldn't sell on principle this Jan? Whole thing is a mess.
