Personally, just thought it was a shame. I think his early career progression showed someone who was prepared to work really hard and it paid off for him and us.

There seemed to be a point at which that flipped and you got the sense he expected everything to be built around him, which was always unrealistic.

He's fallen out with a load of clubs ever since, which suggests that the issue is at least partly him.

I don't Harbour any ill will for him tho, just hope he gets back into the swing of things, but preferably never against us.
