i love liberia right off, one of the most tonto nuttiest countries i've ever been.

liberia was founded in 1822 by the american colonisation society as a settlement for freed african slaves (probably down to our fault) the name Liberia literally means "land of the free".

i was a guest at the club beer brewery located in bushrod island, monrovia. liberia is stunningly beautiful and i had the pleasure of being taken on a river fishing trip as the guest of two former lebanese christian militia chaps who rented us a warehouse from on bushrod island we were supplying unmil troops from.

they took us out on their boat to catch ourselves some barracuda that we ate off of the bbq in the evening in the old colonial freestone tyre factory basically officers' mess with a few club beers and some local rum poured into cracked coconuts.

never forget the flight over from brussels because the first ever democratically elected female african president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was on the flight and the excitement was intense when we touched down.
