Great result and I’m going to say a much better performance than people think

Blackburn have just had a pretty big new manager bounce, they worked really hard and really got stuck in, and we handled it really really well. Yes, people wanted us to fizz it about and blow them away, but sometimes life ain’t that way. Sometimes you just has to fight and not get f**king beat, and trust that the moment will come if you don’t f**k up. We had proper depth and quality on the bench today, and we just kept going until we made something happen. And throughout it was really really well controlled.

Not saying this is going to live long in the memory, but in its way, that was great.
