Some info here:

For practice and season schedule info you can check their Facebook page - look for Norwich Devils American Football Club. They held their first practice of the season yesterday I believe (is the most recent post on the FB page). The schedule is likely not available yet - I think the British League starts around April time usually (although the university league including UEA Pirates plays through winter, the idiots!).

They have a website but the FB page is more up to date.

Is it any good? Well, you have to remember the relative level. It ain't NFL or NCAA that's for sure! But obviously they will play against teams relative to their ability, and it's great to watch if you're a huge fan to appreciate even at the lower level.

The Devils play in Div.2 I think (maybe Div.1 - not sure on the latest structure in the UK as it keeps changing) so not the top UK level. The top UK level is also not quite as high as the top levels in Germany, Austria or Scandinavia. I haven't watched the Devils actually play a game for quite a few years but I did guest coach there for one practice just before COVID as I was coaching the GB national team at the time together with their then Head Coach (who was also a team mate of mine back in the 80s). They were a good bunch of kids and a mixed bag of abilities / experience.

And yes they play and practice on Pound Lane. Is your lad interested in just watching them or getting involved on the playing side? They held rookie days in October, but as I say the lower ability end will probably be quite low so if he were interested in getting involved it's not a massive barrier to come in cold.
