If their opening offer was £13m, inc add ons, I can't see them getting close to £21m. But, that might be ok if they met us in the middle and were giving us more money upfront.

If he's set on going to the MLS and will reject any other move, and will refuse to play (we don't know that he would, but lets just hypothesise), then we won't get offered more for him in the summer or in January.

If we can get a replacement that Clement is happy with in first, we can continue to negotiate Sargent's departure into Feb.
