PC on Amass - wasn't in plans a few weeks ago. Chrisene and Mahovo promising, but injury for Mahovo made it necessary. Recruitment team quickly got Amass's name... I watched some games and was impressed. He will be a good fit and a good step to come here.. a win-win situation.

PC - very positive that Amass is oven ready. Ready to do the job and positive about first training sessions. And several players said they were impressed by him in training. But no selection clues from PC

PC on Sargent. Nothing has changed. Josh knows how to get back into the squad, he has the key, but nothing has changed.

PC - Forson expect him back next week in training. Duffy still not ready.

PC on Elliott Myles - making the right steps and growing week by week. We need to build him - has talent but things to work on. Myles feels well with his evolution.

PC on Slimane - when I came he was physically not fit because of injury, worked hard and patient, and now doing really well now. That is how it works with working hard and showing up in training.

PC on tough selection decisions - I hope they give me headaches all season. That will not be the best for me but it will be best for the club.

PC on his time at Coventry - said he had met former Cov team-mate Hucks at Colney, loved working under Gordon Strachan. Hucks still such an energetic person, he was brilliant in the dressing room. He hasn't changed that much! Clearly he hasn't done a management role!

PC - playing in England has helped me - different to Europe. I can't perform in an atmosphere where it is relaxed. The English hard working mentality works. I will enforce that. And I like tradition.

PC - there cannot be a bigger test than Coventry and I have a really good feeling, for where the team is. There is a lot to be proven against a top quality squad.

PC - Exciting to see how much energy NCFC fans can give us... I feel in the last couple of weeks, how much positivity is back with the fans, home and away. I want to feel that tomorrow.

PC - I understand when results and performances are not good, that is normal. I told players it is about us and what we do, then you get back the energy. Says players have flipped the situation. Guarantees the commitment will always be there with his players.
