On a human level, I have sympathy for sarge and his desire to go home

Or closer to home. It’s hard having young kids and being away from family.

But, if Toronto don’t stump up the cash, he’s got to suck it up and be a professional until they do, which clearly he isn’t.

Although it doesn’t sound like him and his agent are behaving well, I’ve got more sympathy for him than someone that wants to leave for football / financial reasons.

Also, we just dont know what promises were made to him in the summer or what discussions there have been between him and the club in the lead up to the situation as it is now. Feels hard to believe that this has come from nowhere; it’s not in line with the character he has seemed to be for the last 5 years
