I think we need more quality across the board

Agree that right now they don't look as entirely inept as they did under Manning, but I still think we have a squad that is championship mid table level with a potential for playoffs (the standard, not what we will achieve after our start this season!).

It is not a squad containing many players who could survive in the Premier League if promoted. So I think we really need to just upgrade really and I cannot think of a single position that doesn't need that. Maybe McConville has PL talent?

We also REALLY need to replace Kenny as soon as possible. He's not getting any younger. He is out of contract in the summer. Would be ideal to find his replacement this month so he can work alongside Kenny for a few months. If Wright is that man and we think we already have him, then we do need to find a way for him to play more minutes this season.

I don't think Slimane has the pace for that position and don't think Gibbs or Topic have the ability.
