It's tough reading between the lines but PC said "he made himself unavailable for the game against Wrexham" unless he is lying that would suggest they went to Sarge and asked him to pubically apologize to the fans and team mates and he dug in saying he wants the move and won't do it.

That's why he is with the u21s now known as the Norwich Naughty Step.
