The last time things weren’t s**t was between 1999-2001

Sure things have always been s**t *somewhere*, but proportionally there was less s**t and in fewer places then. Shit didn’t last as long and wasn’t quite as s**t. For a brief while, it looked like the world was getting past WW2 in many ways and places. I suppose if I had to name a tipping point it would be 9/11, but there were things before and since, terrorist and non-terrorist, warlike and peaceful, religious and secular, which have precipitated the s**t. Since the turn of the century, s**t has been doing nothing but going down.
