We currently only know one side of the story.
We don't know what has lead to this point.

The thing I find fascinating is that this doesn't appear to be about money.
That in itself is almost unheard of in modern day football.

TBF the club may have brought this upon themselves by giving in to the deals for Rowe and Kamara...and to a lesser extent Nunez.
That set the stage for forcing a move when all else fails.
