I can see why he would want to go there because

Ultimately he’s not good enough to score regularly in the premier league.

He could go to the MLS though and score goals at that level whilst playing in a “top division” and getting the attention of his national coach.

Ahmed has just moved to us from Toronto to further his career. There is no way it’s a step up for Sarge but I suppose with his World Cup aspirations it may make some sort of sense.
