nope, I think the club have hoped it would go away

hence they lived out last season to think like "oh fans are fickle anyway, worthington will get it right next year and they'll love him again and it will all be forgotten"

I think they are hoping for that, 3 games in and 2 or 3 points on the board and a large section of the fans will have lost patience again
