Press news in...

🔰 Philippe Clement will hold his pre-match press conference ahead of Norwich City's Championship clash at QPR from 13:30pm.
------------------------------------------------------

PC on Makama - he was a little bit sick after the Watford game so will have to be assessed for QPR game. "I will never take a risk with a player in any situation but there are a few good examples of players in the squad who have been playing with knock".

PC: Impossible to play four games in nine days with same starting XI. It is about opportunities and players taking them with both hands - in a collective way. Says players are recovering post-match better than a few weeks ago.

PC: It is an option to play Sargent and Makama together - depends on the opposition among other things.

PC says there is no time to waste to get over a set-back. QPR big opportunity and big challenge but they are all up for it.

PC on Kellen Fisher: It is good to have two good players there (with Stacey). Kellen plays with a good heart and makes the right decisions on the football we want to play, defensively and offensively. Potential to make it better but he is taking good steps.

PC on transfer window: I am not going to go into detail on positions - don't want to put people's back against the wall. It is clear we need creativity in final third. That was evident against Watford. It is about quality, not just experience. It is a difficult window - no one wants to lose best players.

Who recruits? PC working ever waking minute - other people bring the names, I look at the names and say who I favour and who I don't. Really good co-operation with us

January exits? Only players who we expect not to play, not ones who are important to the team. Maybe one or two players will leave, loan or permanent, because they won't have enough minutes ahead

QPR challenge - two teams with a clear style of playing. Pity we didn't get we deserved out of Watford. Major thing is we can compete with in-form teams then the points will follow. Need to keep to that level and raise that level.

PC very happy to see so many NCFC fans coming to games, home and away - no fireworks for players tonight, they will be in bed sleeping.

Hunger and desire is big to make steps at this club. Happy to see synergy is back with fans ... still have a long way to go to get maximum from this squad and work to do to strengthen the squad, so exciting things to come in the coming weeks.

Back to the January window - PC says every manager wants business to be sorted early. "I think we are all happy when it is February 1"

That's all from PC.
