He came to present end-of-season awards to Hethersett U11s in 1989.

Purely because he lived nearby. Came with his wife in his Citroen AX GT. Very nice. That season he had scored the goals in the FA Cup QF against West Ham.

I can still remember some of the things he said to us that night. A very kind and friendly guy.

Things like these are massive when you're an 11 year old boy, like you I've always remembered him fondly since!
