Now... a while back I did comparison shops between Sainsburys and Waitrose...

and on average Waitrose came out pretty much even or less than a fiver more expensive. Given we have found the quality is way higher at W, that seemed like a price woth paying. You need to make the most of the offers and shop their essentials range.
