never had to play a competitive away game and couldn't win Euro 96 despite it having the crappiest standard of play at any major tornamanet in living memory and us having home advantage. One excellent performance against a self-destructing Dutch team doesn't make up for all the rubbish.
Ho wmany competitive matches has Sven lost? 2, I reckon (Brazil, N Ireland). No way would Venables be able to match that.
