I agree with what you are saying, its a bit liek deal or no deal!

If you put in an enquiry for a first team member of another team, the answer is gonna be no 9 times outta 10 as there is no incentive.

If you go straight in with an offer of say 350k for Chadwick, this then tempts the club, as they have a carrot of 350k dangling in front of them, they may not accept, they may negotiate or decline, b ut at least they have something to work from.
