Young love by The boo boos (Eels side project) was a bit of a return to form.

Nadia Reid - enter now brightness made the early running.

The even more freewheeling Jeffrey Lewis album had some great songs on it.

Throwing muses - moonlight concessions was a grower

Far from nowhere by Josienne Clarke for some folky goodness.

Albarone by Baxter dury was amusing

And Panic Shack by Panic Shack was a dollop of punky fun.

(I also enjoyed the Suzanne vega and luke haines)


But the Goodnight Louisa album was the one that stayed with me - check it out.
