The reality is, like most times, they just have better players than us. They bat better and deeper, they bowl better, they catch and field better. Add in home conditions, and this is what you get.

What I will say is that the entire team has been selected to support Bazball. Every player in there bar Stokes and Root like to have a bash. If we're no longer sticking to maximum Bazball, then its possible that we might be able to find less exciting players that dont smash 50s, but have better technique to survive for longer. Although then again, given how the entire game is now set up to serve the 100, 20-20, and other slogfest forms of the game, maybe not.
