Well there were two involved in the act of bravery - the first

actually tackled the guy and disarmed him and puts the gun against the tree. The second, wearing a hat, inexplicably chases him through an open area while the second shooter is just there on the bridge, throws something at him for some reason, then runs back and joins the first guy behind the tree. He then seems to get shot in the hand or arm, runs back away from the tree and collapses.

The images I saw that were meant to be Ahmed, and also the interview with one of his relatives, showed clearly that he had been shot twice - once in the arm and once in the hand.

There is no image of the first guy getting shot during the part of the video I have seen, although that may have happened after the video ends.

So it is possible that Ahmed was the second guy, and that Edward (or somebody else) was the first guy. They both have similar body shapes and features from a distance so hard to tell.

It's really quite disturbing that we even need to have these discussions these days isn't it? They were both extremely brave and stopped further carnage and should be celebrated.
