She has a mix of poncechickens, which lay fancy eggs (light blue, pale cream) and refuse to lay unless things are JUST RIGHT, and bog standard chickens which lay brown eggs and soldier on laying an egg each per day, day in day out, regardless of weather.
Foxes are an occupational hazard of keeping chickens, sadly. We have learned not to give them names. Otherwise you just feed and water them, clean out the house, try to keep the run fox proof, and shoot/poison the rats!
