Safeway in the Kings Road was where I first encountered this

I'd be behind someone who could probably afford to buy a football club and they'd start paying their bill in 2p pieces, and asking after each one if it were enough yet.

I'm grateful that contactless payments will prevent me from doing this in my old age.
