A while ago, maybe at the AGM, Knapper said that we didn't have a creativity issue...

we had a chance taking issue. I didn't really agree with that at the time, certainly didn't seem to be the case under Manning, but increasingly it does seem to be a bit more relevant with a few v good chances going begging in recent games.

However, what I find completely mind boggling is how Knapper can be surprised by that. For a stats man, how can he have failed to notice that other than Sargent, and maybe Kvistgaarden (but a bit irrelevant if we only play one or the other), none of our players have any track record of significant goal contributions.

It shouldn't come as any great surprise that Forson isn't an accomplished finisher given he's only ever scored 13 goals in his 130 odd appearances, with 6 of those being in the Austrian second division.

Makama has got in some good positions lately, but doesn't look to be a composed finisher, and his career history seems to generally suggest that is probably correct (although in his case I think he can get a lot better).

McLean and Mattson aren't going to score many, nor are our full backs. Maybe the centre backs chip in with a few, the set piece delivery from Wright was pretty decent last night.

We really need more goal threat from the 3 behind our main striker - as it stands, I don't think Schwartau, Forson and Marcondes will contribute enough goals. When adding to our attacking options in January, someone with a track record of scoring goals needs to be prioritised.
