With all the work and advancement in Mental Health issues and treatment since 2008 and the fact that the two sisters are both apparently still alive and "living quietly"this was absolutely wrong.
Although the events are still extremely shocking and probably give the individuals affected nightmares the sisters intention in trying to cross the motorway were a suicide pact and the one that killed someone pleaded guilty to manslaughter due to diminished responsibility means that there was no murder.
Yes there was "madness" but two experts agreed that it was a temporary/recurring phase and exacerbated by the failure of our justice/welfare system to look after vulnerable individuals.
