That is certainly true

It was made worse in Covid times if you watch the Ben Stokes documentary. He seems pretty tough in lots of ways but he was all over the place in that.
I think a lot of it is you are often a long way from home and "oh no you made a mistake now sit in this room for two days while the game goes on and you can do nothing about it and only think about how s**t you are"
