Whole load of back-slapping yesterday
But we are such a loooooooong way from being out of the woods.
The ten-year average for 22nd place is 46 pts [ish]. So let's say 48 would be a decent aim.
If we go the rest of this season at the following:
Stringer-pace, 1987/88 = we finish w/ 38 pts
Worthington-pace, 2000.01 = 37 pts
Roeder-pace, 2007.08 = 40 pts
Gunn-pace, 2008.09 = 30 pts
Weirdly, being as 's**t' as we were under Wagner [post-Blackburn 2023/24] would be great because that would get us to 51 pts.
