Post match presser suggests Clement doesn't feel he is currently ready as a #10 or as a wide player, but is as a #9, but obviously we are not going to drop Sarge for him. So for now it looks like he is on the bench and only comes on when the game is comfortable and needs closing out or if Sarge is injured or not contributing (unlikely).
He is clearly happy enough with him as an out and out striker, as he suggested that he would play him with Sarge if we had two up front, but that won't happen until we get our midfield sorted out.
Is frustrating for us as fans, as he does score goals and clearly has ability, but I think we have to trust the boss on this one and hope he manages the situation well with Kvistgaarden.
He is a really nice alternative to Sarge and our striker depth is better than for a long time - I'd be far more confident with Kvistgaarden or Makama coming in than I felt in the past with Hugill, Idah, Barnes, Crnac, Hwang, Aboh and anybody else I have forgotten in recent years.
Would be nice if he could develop into the #10 as well though, or even if Sarge could play that role at times with Kvistgaarden up front.
