The fifth is a tricky one. A few contenders but none really crying out to be pushed in January rather than the summer unless we effectively replace.

That’s based on the assumption that usually in the January window you’d only really be looking to get rid if 1) it’s an offer you can’t refuse, 2) high wage earners with little impact or 3) detrimental to the team atmosphere.

And in addition would consider loans for Springett and Jurasek in the hope that they put themselves in the shop window for a summer move.
