This signing is for me the most baffling given our supposed "stats" based approach

Placheta was sh*t but I can kind of understand why his stats would make him look good - was was at least fast and had a good work ethic. Same with Topic. he's not up to it technically at present but he's a decent athlete.

I cannot for the life of me understand what statistical analysis could have led our analysts to conclude that Jurasek was suitable or would succeed in the championship. He's clearly got some technical ability on the ball but he's not that fast and he does not put in the yards.
