It’s certainly possible to have a long not-winning run, so I guess so

Currently we’re on 10 points off 17 games. 0.6ppg.

Let’s say we need to get 42 points to stay up. That’s being generous, in 2009 we went down with 46. We need 32 more points from 29 games. 1.1ppg.

So, we need to almost double our points per game ratio, for the rest of the season, from the next game, to get 4 points less than we got in 2009.

I do think our squad is potentially better than our current position, but potential doesn’t win points and we need points, urgently. So, yes, I think we are going down. And frankly, the team and club deserve it. The leadership has presided over a collapse in footballing standards, communication with supporters and a dereliction of duty in recruitment. It’s a shambles.
