QPR are set to sign Australian midfielder Nick Ward
after he secured his release from Perth Glory.
The 21-year-old, who has represented Australia at Under-20 level, obtained permission from Football Federation Australia to leave the A-League team.

An FFA spokesman said: "It's disappointing to see one of our best players leaving the A-League to play in a second-tier competition in England.

"His decision is against the advice of the national team management."
