Defensive options in the Academy, NBTTT

Adeboyega was injured preseason and only made his comeback for the U21s at the end of Oct. His contract expires in the summer and I don't think he has a long-term future at NC.

Ozcan - the LB - is not 18 until Jan, and that is very young for a defensive player to be in the First Team. He is built more like Drury than Dijks, which may be another consideration.

Gwanzura - the CB who signed a new deal recently - is even younger than Ozcan, and is recovering from a long-term knee injury. He last played at the end of March.

Adelusi - CB - just turned 18, released by Spurs at the end of his Scholarship. Signed to 2028, is one our regular U21 CBs and has been in matchday squads already.

We have sent out fifteen players on loan so far this season.
Thirteen of them have gone to Non-League clubs which - to me - hardly reflects a readiness for Championship football.
